DESCRIPTION

The Emerging Leaders in Catholic Education program seeks to provide the next generation of Catholic school leaders in Chile with the skills, strategies, and networks to shape and lead transformational Catholic schools. The fellowship is organized around the University of Notre Dame's Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE) three pillars of Professional Development, Community, and Spiritual Growth.

In 2023 -- together with Alberto Hurtado University, the Vicariate for Education of the Archdiocese of Santiago, and the Jesuit Educational Network -- we will enroll a cohort of 24 educators from Chile, who will receive a series fo innovative courses on key topics on Catholic school leadership: school culture, instructional leadership, executive management, and integrated school leadership.

The program, consisting of 3 weekend seminars (Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon),  will run over the course of one year between May 2023 and April 2024. In addition, participants will meet monthly in a professional learning community.
