Isabella Olarte Ortega

Isabella Olarte is a second-year undergraduate student studying Psychology and Business Analytics, with a minor in Sociology. She is interested in pursuing work that connects business and psychology in the long term, such as designing strategy for nonprofit organizations. At the GC-DWC, Isabella works with Professor Neil Boothby and Hannah Chandler on a recently commenced study on Positive Deviance in Haiti. She assists in analyzing and coding qualitative data collected in Haiti to identify patterns within positively deviant students that can help families and educators support younger students in following similar success pathways.
