Gregory Pierre
Gregory Pierre is an Education Specialist with extensive experience in pedagogy, leadership, and teacher training. He studied Psychopedagogy at the Faculty of Educational Sciences at l’Université Publique du Nord in Cap-Haïtien (UPNCH/UEH) and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Leadership and Management at l’Université Internationale Nouvelle Alliance (UINA), class of 2023–2025.
Gregory serves as a technical consultant for the GC-DWC in Haiti. In this role, he leads trainings in literacy and social and emotional learning across several GC-DWC projects. He also serves as a trainer-supervisor for both the Early Childhood Program (L3) and Innovation Communities based in Cap-Haïtien.
Prior to joining the GC-DWC, Gregory worked as a Social and Emotional Learning Supervisor with the Read Haiti-Porticus project in Cap-Haïtien. He was a trainer with Team EFL Haiti, a program of the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, funded by the Rotary Global Grant Project. Gregory also taught grades 1 through 5 and held multiple roles at the Complexe Info Center in Cap-Haïtien, including pedagogical advisor, basic English instructor, and computer science teacher. Additionally, he taught philosophy at the NS4 level at the Faculté Adhérente pour la Réussite du Bacc (FARB).
A committed civic leader, Gregory has been deeply involved in social work through JCI Haiti, where he trained young people across the country.
