Ana Lopez

Bio

Ana Lopez is an undergraduate student intern pursuing degrees in Psychology and Global Affairs, as well as completing a minor in Education, Schooling, and Society. In the GC-DWC, Ana is working with the Haiti team to develop learning materials for parents as well as strategies for distance learning and parent engagement. Ana was born and raised in the Dominican Republic and is passionate about bridging mental health, education, and international development, specifically on her native island of The Hispaniola. At Notre Dame, Ana has been involved in the Notre Dame Institute for Advanced Studies as an Undergraduate Research Fellow, the Student Policy Network, The Latinx Sibling, Youth, and Family Research Lab, and The Latino Honor Society. Outside of Notre Dame, Ana has interned and volunteered at various development agencies and non-profits in Latin America and enjoys traveling, reading, and trying new restaurants.
