Maura Kraemer

Maura (she/they) entered the University of Notre Dame’s Sociology Ph.D. program in the fall of 2021 and is a graduate affiliate with the Center for Research on Educational Opportunity (CREO), the Program for Interdisciplinary Education Research (ND PIER), the Lucy Family Institute for Data & Society, and the Initiative on Race and Resilience.  They received a Master's at the University of Chicago in 2020 with a concentration in Society and Education. Their current research explores parental racial socialization and Whiteness within schools using quantitative methods.
