  • I don't think that everybody is going to love math. But I do think that we can help students feel like they have a place in the math classroom. I think when students are in a classroom and they feel anxious or like they don't fit in, then that speaks to our Catholic social teaching and our faith and call to community and the dignity of the individual. I feel like as teachers in Catholic schools, we really should be thinking about every student in there, and how do they feel in this space. Because if they're uncomfortable, obviously, then they're not gonna be successful. So in my class, when I teach my students, we talk about these different ways of integrating our faith life into our teaching.”
