Yashila Singh
Yashila Singh is a Senior Research Associate at GC-DWC with over eight years of experience in designing and implementing life skills programs grounded in evidence and responsive to diverse local contexts. Her areas of expertise include curriculum development, facilitator training, monitoring and evaluation, capacity building, program design, and project management.
Her professional journey spans both local and global contexts. In India, Yashila worked extensively on life skills program delivery across 10+ states through her role at Pratham Education Foundation and has also implemented initiatives for adolescent girls’ leadership development in Mumbai. She then pursued her Master's in Human Development and Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education where she also worked with the Ecological Approaches to Social Emotional Learning (EASEL) Lab. After her Master’s, she worked on professional development, training, and upskilling of refugees through the Education for Humanity initiative at Arizona State University.
In her current role, Yashila supports the GC-DWC’s work with the Life Skills Collaborative, helping strengthen learning and evidence use among organizations that work on life skills in India.
