Shwetha J Parvathy
Shwetha J Parvathy serves as a Research and Learning Advisor at the GC-DWC, where she leads the Center's research and learning efforts in Haiti and India across several projects. With over 8 years of experience, Shwetha focuses on strengthening people and processes to improve evidence-based decision making in programs that aim to improve developmental and learning outcomes for children. She has experience setting up and executing research and learning agendas, right from the creation of theory of change to iterative learning and scaling, and evaluation (quantitative and qualitative). Currently, she is also exploring how to measure systems change as part of executing the Center's broader learning agenda of systems change in Haiti. She also supports proposal development and program design for the Center's potential new grants.
Prior to this, Shwetha worked at Pratham Education Foundation in the Program Management team where she led the implementation and scale-up of Teaching at the Right Level across various states in India, and managed multiple government and donor relationships. She also co-led the program design and implementation of Pratham's early years interventions. Shwetha holds a Master's in Public Policy from Georgetown University and a Bachelor's in Technology from Kerala University, India.
