Jada Bautista
Jada Bautista is an undergraduate intern double majoring in Psychology and Visual Communication Design, with a minor in Computing and Digital Technologies, specializing in UI/UX. As a Glynn Family Honors Scholar and Ethics Institute Research Fellow, Jada focuses on integrating design and psychology principles to create safer digital spaces for children. She is passionate about advancing ethical guidelines for designers and developers, ensuring that online environments are both secure and mindful of young users. Her work with non-profit youth organizations in Manila, Philippines, has shaped her commitment to designing with empathy, urgency, and enthusiasm, particularly for children in disadvantaged communities. This fall break, Jada will be heading to London to further explore the role of culture and AI in her research.
