Francesca Ciaramitaro
Francesca Ciaramitaro has spent the last eight years at Incarnation School in New York City, serving first as a middle school English Language Arts teacher for five years and then as principal for the past three. As a school leader, Francesca has prioritized literacy as a driver for equity and empowerment, securing a literacy innovation grant through Notre Dame to pilot schoolwide writing practices and deepen professional learning for teachers. She also launched a successful Bridge to Kindergarten summer program, which strengthens early literacy foundations and builds strong family-school partnerships. Francesca leads with a belief in data-informed instruction, coaching teachers to use student growth data to tailor support and ensure every child thrives. Her work reflects a deep commitment to community, joyful learning, and the transformational power of reading and writing.
