Erica Conley Shannon

Erica Conley Shannon is a former high school Science educator. Erica holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Eastern Michigan University and a Master’s degree in Biology Education from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Erica’s teaching career includes positions in Science education in Detroit, MI, as well as in Elkhart, IN. Most recently, Erica served as an AP and Dual Credit Biology teacher at Elkhart High School. Additionally, Erica has collaborated with the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) through their STEM Institutes, supporting both teachers and students. Drawing on these experiences, Erica is well equipped to support teachers in her role as the Science Content Specialist for the AP-TIP program.
