Daniel Feldmann
Daniel Feldmann is currently in his fourth year of teaching. After three years of 5th grade in Oakland, CA, he is now back in the Midwest teaching 7th and 8th grade religion and 7th grade social studies at St. Peter's School in Ohio. Daniel received his bachelor's degree in philosophy, with a supplemental major in theology, from the University of Notre Dame in 2021, and has recently completed an M.Ed program through the Alliance for Catholic Education.
Though he no longer teaches ELA as a core subject with his students, Daniel is looking forward to exploring his own subject areas through literature with his classes, as well as partnering with the Junior High Team at St. Peter's to enrich his student's education through cross-curricular studies. Daniel enjoys read-alouds, deep-diving discussions, and learning about his students through their journal responses. His favorite books to share with his class are The Three Questions by Jon J. Muth, The Selfish Giant by Oscar Wilde, The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien, and Make Your Bed by Admiral William H. McRaven (US Navy Retired). Daniel is a firm believer in holistic education, and believes that an academic mind can only be cultivated alongside a strong spirit, and a gentle heart. He is proud to continue his ministry alongside the rest of the O'Shaughnessy Fellows team.
