Jackie Amil

Jackie Amil is the 5th-grade teacher at École Notre Dame des Victoires in San Francisco, California.  Jackie is in her fifth year of teaching and is currently working towards a master's degree in Educational Leadership through the Mary Ann Remick Leadership Program at the University of Notre Dame. She has spent the academic year researching ways to support the reading development of students in grades 3-5 through increasing teacher collaboration and implementing high-leverage instructional practices in the classroom. Jackie is dedicated to developing strong relationships with her students and to building a positive classroom culture where all students feel they belong. As a literacy teacher, she most enjoys inspiring and fostering a love for reading in her students that can last a lifetime!
