Trey is a graduate student in Cognitive Psychology. He graduated from DePaul University with a BA in Economics in 2015, and worked in Illinois state education policy during undergrad. Trey earned his Masters in Education from the Notre Dame Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE) Teaching Fellowship in 2018. During his time in ACE, Trey taught middle school math in Harlem, NY. After graduating, Trey returned to education policy as an organizer and consultant, then taught high school math on the west side of Chicago. His research interests concern empowerment, healing, and learning for black children.
