Bio
Mary Frances (Frankie) Jones is an ACE 11 graduate who is currently completing her Ph.D. in Policy Studies in Urban Education at the University of Illinois-Chicago and formerly served as Director of Development for St. Ann Catholic School in Chicago. Frankie’s research focuses on the ways in which teachers and leaders at schools facing intense accountability pressures successfully enact improvement strategies and cultivate productive school properties for authentic student achievement. In addition to her strong record as an instructor at UIC, we believe Frankie’s knowledge of school policy and leadership alongside her own experiences within a “whatever-it-takes’ Catholic K-8 school will have tremendous positive effects throughout the ACE community. Frankie will work part time for the Remick Leadership Program this summer as a co-instructor within RLP’s Instructional Leadership and Inquiry and Intervention courses, while also completing her dissertation. She will join the team full-time in January.
