Chineme’s research focuses on the interactions that facilitates children’s learning processes and academic outcomes. She is particularly interested in examining dyadic interactions, especially those between educator and child, that promote positive developmental outcomes. Currently, Chineme serves as a literacy tutor and site coach with the Tutor-ND program at the University of Notre Dame. This program seeks to expand access to evidence-based literacy and math programs for children in grades PK-8, while also connecting tutors to cognitive science.
