CREO Postdoctoral Research Associate Meaghan Mingo's article "Stay in a Child's Place: Adult Authority in Schooling in the Louisiana Delta" is now published in Sociology of Race and Ethnicity of Sage Journals. Mingo performed over one year of ethnographical work and research at Abundance Junior High School in the Louisiana Delta. In her article, Mingo argues that school discipline in the rural northeast Louisiana Delta is shaped by racial, spatial, and social dimensions of place. Read the full article here.
