Elif Ozulku
Dr. Elif Ozulku is a Research Scientist at the University of Notre Dame’s Center for STEM Education and the Managing Editor of the Journal of Research in Science Teaching. Her current work focuses on beginning teachers’ professional preparation and their learning through teaching, with particular attention to how instructional quality is measured and supported.
Before her current role, she worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Notre Dame, contributing to several research projects on science and mathematics teaching both within and outside of the University. She previously taught courses in educational policy, research methods, and data analysis at Florida State University. Her research has been published in outlets such as the Journal of Research in Science Teaching, International Journal of Science Education, and Large Scale Assessments in Education.
As a Fulbright Scholar, Dr. Ozulku completed her Ph.D. in Educational Policy and Evaluation from Florida State University. She also holds an M.S. in Secondary School Science and Mathematics Education and a B.S. in Teaching Physics, both from Boğaziçi University.
