Yesenia Vargas

Yesenia Vargas received her Master of Education from Boston College and graduated with a BA from Wellesley College majoring in American Studies, with a minor in education. Her interests include race and ethnicity, social movements, stratification, and the sociology of the body, and she is particularly interested in embodied suffering in the racial formation of diasporic communities. She has worked in a variety of teaching roles and non-profit organizations in Boston, Chile, and, most recently, Chicago.
