Suzanne Wood is a first-year doctoral student in Sociology and a graduate affiliate with the Center for Research on Educational Opportunity (CREO) and Program for Interdisciplinary Education Research (ND PIER). She holds a M.A. in Sociology from the University of Victoria, in British Columbia, and received her B.A. in Sociology from Columbia University. Current research interests include education, qualitative methods and crime and deviance. Her research interests include social factors and that impact student learning outcomes, especially the inequities situated at the intersection of class, race and gender in the classroom.
