Heather E. Price
Heather Price is currently an Assistant Professor at Marian University in their Leadership Studies Doctoral Program. In September 2023, she will start a new position as a Senior Researcher at Linda Darling Hammond's Learning Policy Institute. Price also serves as a theoretical and technical consultant for the OECD's Teaching and Learning International Survey (TALIS). Her sociology of education research examines the meso-level impact of school organization and school community on teachers and students attitudes and behaviors. Her broader sociological research seeks to understand the institutional effects on group and individual attitudes, behaviors, and norms -- how it produces inequality and can be used to create equality in order to facilitate human flourishing.
