Elizabeth Covay
Bio
Elizabeth Covay completed her PhD in Sociology at the University of Notre Dame in May 2010. Currently, Dr. Covay is as Associate Professor of Educational Leadership at National Louis University. Prior to her position as NLU, Beth worked as the Research Director for the Michigan Consortium for Educational Research at Michigan State University evaluating the Michigan Merit Curriculum.
Beth's research focuses on inequality in student opportunities to learn and how social contect is related to differences in access to, returns to, and experiences within student opportunities to learn.
