Dan McFarland

Bio

Dan McFarland is a professor of education and (by courtesy) sociology and business at Stanford University. He studies the social dynamics that surround and constitute educational systems. He particularly focuses on crescive moments that order and transform classroom interactions, peer relations, student careers, and membership affiliations. He has written numerous articles and chapters for publication. McFarland is currently engaged in several projects concerning the co-evolution of social networks and cultural systems.
