Charles Clotfelter, Z. Smith Reynolds Professor of Public Policy, Economics, and Law at Duke University, speaks on "Is Early Algebra Worth It? Using a Policy Initiative to infer the Impact of Early Access to Algebra on College-Readiness." This talk is part of the Mellon-ISLA Interndisciplinary Workshop Speaker Series, conducted with the support of the Education Learning Community, a group of faculty and students associated with the Education, Schooling, and Society (ESS) interdisciplinary minor and the IEI.
