Dr. Michael Hansen is an economist and affiliated researcher with the American Institutes for Research. His talk, "Evaluating Teacher Performance: What We Do and Don't Know," is part of the Mellon-ISLA Interdisciplinary Workshop Speaker Series. The series this year focuses on the political economy of K-12 education reform. The series is co-sponsored by the Education Learning Community, a group of faculty and students in the Education, Schooling, and Society (ESS) interdisciplinary minor and the Institute for Educational Initiatives.
