Bio

Christie Bonfiglio taught in the ACE-TEC summer program for three years. She joined the ACE faculty full time beginning July 1, 2014 as the Director of Professional Standards. For the past eight years, Christie served as the Department Chair and Director of Special Education for the Teacher Education Department at Goshen College. 

She received her Ph.D. from Western Michigan University in Educational Psychology specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis and academic interventions.  Prior to her work in higher education, Christie worked in the public schools as a school psychologist evaluating students, collaborating with teachers regarding academic and behavioral needs, and facilitating the child study team. 

In addition to her professional work, Christie and her husband Dave are blessed with a daughter, Ciana, a son, Jon, a daughter-in-law, Becky, and a grandson, Vincent.
