Bio

Jensen’s areas of expertise include microeconomic theory, industrial organization, and environmental economics. His current research interests include: the economics of innovation and intellectual property in universities; patent licensing strategies; economic policy for invasive species; and valuation of environmental resources. His research has been funded by the National Science Foundation, the National Bureau of Economic Research, and the Kauffman Foundation for Entrepreneurship, and has been published in the American Economic Review, Quarterly Journal of Economics, Journal of Economic Theory, Review of Economic Studies, International Economic Review, Journal of Environmental Economics and Management, International Journal of Industrial Organization, Management Science, and Journal of Economic History. He is a Co-Editor and Fellow of the International Journal of Industrial Organization.
