Bio
Dr. Guzman obtained his PhD in Public Policy and Demographics from the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University . His research has been in student achievement and school performance. His dissertation looked at determinants of test scores and the effects of school competition.
After finishing his studies at Princeton, Dr. Guzman joined the American Institute for Research, where he conducted research for the National Center for Educational Statistics (NCES). Currently Dr. Guzman’s research focuses on access to education among Latinos and their transition from high school to college and the labor market, particularly in Indiana.
