Bio

Dr. Jennifer Borek received her Ph.D. from Saint Louis University in
May of 1996. Two weeks after her hooding she gave birth to her fourth
child. With her family she has moved around the country teaching both
English and teacher education courses. Her research and writing has
been primarily regarding supporting students with disabilities in high
school classrooms, particularly student writing development.

A lifelong musician and poet, Jennifer publishes poetry regularly and
continues to perform with her children on occasion. The Borek family
is delighted to continue their ministry in South Bend with the
Alliance for Catholic Education, and the other programs with which the
whole family has become involved.
